Oh goody - good find GE2. Lots of lovely pics I'm thinking. It doesn't appear the Oscars is being televised in the UK but maybe we'll get a glimpse on breakfast tv. I live in hope !! ;D

I wasn't sure if she meant he was at the party where she was at the time or if she meant today! But if there's some sort of connection with Sky right now, that would be great! Is that him on the right side of the picture? It's kind to hard to tell.
Edited to add: Looking at it in zoom, I think it's not him.

I re-read her comment several times, and I'm sure she was referring to Oscar night. Or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself!!

I think you may be right about her message. I'm like you, very hopeful. But I can't read any of her other tweets (twitter is not working well today), so when she says oscar party, I can't tell if she means she's going to the actual oscars, or if she's attending a watching party (which some people in the US have, especially in places like LA).
Either way, I think it is very hopeful that she works for Sky, so thanks for keeping your eagle eyes open and posting this great news!

Oh. I hadn't thought of that. Well, maybe if it's a star-studded party, there'll still be pics posted? Still hopeful she'll interview him, too!

Sounds promising, I hope we'll get to see some nice new pics. And maybe there will be something in it for Aurelio too

I just heard that Daybreak are covering the Oscars on Monday morning. It might be worth a look.

Unless they get a feed from Sky, unlikely we'd see Rufus on Daybreak, though - they'll be probably just be showing the winners.
Sky itself, however, might have a special show about it overnight. Anyone here have Sky? (Maybe they'll interview Rufus in the lead-up to the awards starting, in between red carpet stuff?)

For any Rooftoppers who may receive German TV:
ProSieben starts broadcasting on Monday morning at 1:10 am, live show begins at 1:25am and lasts until 11:35am, with repetition between 5:55am and 7:35am according to my TV journal.
Recording it completely via vhs will be difficult, even using the long play modus because it lasts so long - and I'm not quite sure whether the time settings for the repetition will be complied as announced. It might be helpful to arrange with other Rooftoppers who will be recording which time slot?

Good news - that he might be at the Oscars. i'm currently at Heathrow airport waiting for my flight back to Zurich, just had to check if there were news about this. Will either watch it tonight or record it.

Ah - Sky Premiere - drat ! I get Sky 1 etc but none of the fancy channels. Good luck with that Ophelia.
If he's there I expect the red carpet pics will be available pretty quickly. Hows the insomnia GE2 ? ;D

Don't get Sky so won't be able to watch any of the Oscar Ceremony or Red Carpet! Years ago they used to televise the Oscars here, on the now dreaded BBC. Looking forward to you girls getting some pics. I know how resourceful and talented you all are.
