Hello everyone Like ophelia I have been observing The Rooftop message board for a while. Have finally taken the plunge and joined the throng of all things Rufus. Watched Zen and fell in love with a beautiful man. Have been trying to get my hands on as many of his films as is possible. Have overdosed on Rufus since and all is now lost as I am totally smitten. There is little hope for me now. Is this man aware of the damage he can cause to womanhood? Is there any cure for Rufusitus? He's just amazing in TOTS, POTE is so sad as is T&I. Here's something for you all to enjoy (hopefully) www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOXAZt030PUHJ XXXXX

You're in the right place. We all suffer (gladly) from Rufusists, a disease I'm happy to say has no known cure!

Welcome lovethemanrs I love the user name too. At first glance I thought it said lovethemansrs - but then it is early You're in the very best place. I envy you all that unwatched material to go through. I strongly recommend Charles 2 it's in my top 2 favourites, TOTS is my no 1 though. I loved the video - I see we have another talented lady on board. I was just thinking it's great to have something nice and new to watch and half way through for no reason I just cried. (Ignore me - I must just be tired and over-emotional). Have you read the info in the I Just thread regarding watching the Rock n Roll stage recording ? This is really great news. Hope to see you around on the board.

:(Welcome to the Rooftop, lovethemanrs! I suppose Dr. Jacob Hood would fix his diagnosis on your symptoms as a severe case of Rufusitis - unfortunately it's regarded as uncurable. To ease the pain, a daily Rufus-dose is recommended. Your you tube video is most suitable for this..... ;D

Welcome to the Rooftop! Glad that you decided to join the madhouse And as has been said previously, there is definitely no cure for Rufusitis, but who would honestly want one? T&I was my first encounter with Rufus (he's so heartbreakingly wonderful as Lord Marke!) I lost track of him for some time after that before my Rufusitis broke out in earnest when TPOTE was on German TV. Since then, I've spent quite some time (and money ) on catching up with his large variety of films, and he never fails to win me over again and again I can't view the video yet because youtube is blocked on my office PC - I'm looking forward to a nice after-work treat though. Do I see yet another new fangirl coming to join the Rooftop? That calls for a lovely welcome smile, doesn't it? (And, as a doctor, I regret to confirm that there is no known cure for Rufusitis at the present stage and it is highly unlikely that anything will be discovered soon - so you will have no choice but to give in to your addiction as often as you can!)
