Mad Dogs - Well done Left Bank

I read about Mad Dogs on the Left Bank website when the news of Zen first arrived last summer and I'd been looking forward to seeing it ever since. So of course it was on tv while I was away. Well I just got caught up with it and it was brilliant. Well done Andy Harries and Left Bank 
It's in 4 parts, hour long episodes with adverts so probably about 45 minutes each episode. All a continuous story and not individual stories like Zen was. A dark comedy set in Majorca. The cast was always promising IMHO Philip Glenister, John Simm, Mark Warren and Max Beesley. When I saw the first episode with Ben Chaplin I couldn't help thinking how good Rufus would have been in the role. However, I changed my mind by the end of the episode
Interestingly this was on Sky 1. Obviously Sky 1 had the funds for a series filmed abroad. I have also heard rumours that there will be a series 2 made. That sould be interesting given the ending of series 1. I will say no more. However, if you have access to Sky and if you missed it I think you can still see it at the link below.

another good thing about Sky 1 is that they repeat everything about a million times on Sky 1 and Sky 2. If you don't gey Sky it's out on dvd now.
I laughed from start to finish, there were a few OMG moments too. I read a review that described it as a brilliant mix of comedy and thriller. I think they hit the nail on the head there. I recommend it to all..........
