Watched "Titans" and the beginning of "Flesh" yesterday. The series keeps getting better from episode to episode, as characters develop. While I was not partial to Rachel at all at the beginning, I've grown to like her by now and absolutely agree that she and Jacob would make a lovely couple Loved the first scenes of both episodes very much. The one with Jacob's sister and nephew was so sweet, and when that friend of his tried to talk to him about his wife in "Flesh", the heartbroken look on his face almost made me tear up. That autopsy scene in "Flesh" was almost worthy of "X Files", ewww ...

I agree with you, kissmekate. First I thought Rachel is too stiff. You can see it in the way she walks. But now, I like her.
I can't get enough of EH. Jacob's face when he sais "fungus" makes me laugh out loud every time, he's so funny and I like the way he explains things, so even a kid understands what he's talking about. Miss this show, it was my favourite. I'm also a big CSI fan and EH had the same style, but it was better, something new. Sadly too many people thought not the same: (watched a clip on youtube of two German television presenters, or whatever they were, and they said that EH is too boring and nobody understands what it's about....bla bla, etc.) I thought "Hello? Use your brain! So maybe all the CSI series are boring and too difficult to understand too...?!
The problem of many people on this planet is that they don't want to use their brains. For me movies with an obvious story are boring and those like EH with little twists are very interesting.

The problem of many people on this planet is that they don't want to use their brains. Wasn't it just the same with Zen? People complaining about too little action and too much talk while missing out on the subtle wit and suspense. One might criticise that all the EH episodes are structured alike, but then that's true for most other crime procedurals. Most of the cases are original and exciting, though, and Rufus makes such a good leading man as the enigmatic Jacob

If you take a look at those CSI series you think " they look very cool and sexy", but the truth is in real life they have to wear special white suits (not sexy at all.) For me EH was normal and not "hollywood stylish" like the others. And how can you think EH is boring? Rufus and Marley did both a great job and they were so funny. Same with Zen. I don't get it. Thank god I got the DVD's, so I can watch EH and Zen as much as I want!
