And I still don't know whether I can bear to see and listen to "Out of the Blue", but at least I know now where I'll find it anyway.... it's very very hard to hear and see "out of the blue" .... I must cry everytime....

I've only watched the whole thing once. The first part usually suffices for me to dissolve into tears because it's just so beautifully done and so heartbreaking.

It's absolutely beautiful, walt, if you haven't seen it yet. Definite tear-jerker as it makes you re-live the day; and the way Rufus narrates the poem it makes you believe you're there in either one of the towers going through what we can only guess those poor people went through. I was 12 and at school when it all happened, and was incredibly naive about what was happening until I saw the plane hit tower #2, and then watching both towers fall. Because what you see at that age (if you're like me), are two huge buildings fall and death-count predictions being made. At 12, you don't put yourself in the shoes belonging to the people making up that huge number. You immediately assume that either the towers were empty, or that everyone managed to get out OK. The teachers at my school also wanted to protect us from seeing too much (there were much younger kids watching with us). I saw Out of the Blue about 3 weeks ago and my eyes were finally fully opened. Over the years, of course, I gained more of an understanding of what all had happened, and all the horrible decisions the people in the towers had to make to save themselves from their fate; but this knocked it out of the park for me. I honestly think it's Rufus' best work, bar none. It's absolutely incredible and how he didn't get any sort of award for this is an absolute atrocity. This took me from fangirl to serious follower. He earned an incredible amount of respect from me the day I watched it, and I'll carry his performance with me the rest of my life. This is truly him at his finest.

Hmmmm. Am I doing something wrong? When I clicked on the link, all I got was the notice that the video is Private. And I don't see any place to log on. (My browser keeps me logged in, so when I get to YouTube I'm already logged in to my own account.) I tried logging out of my account and then logging in to your "rufussewell1" account and I still can't find the video. What am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem as Judy, but there isn't even a place where it says "if the owner of this video has granted you access"...I can't even scroll down to see anything else. The screen just says "This video is private. Sorry about that."

Nope. There isn't even evidence on there that it was ever uploaded. I definitely agree. YT can be a pain in the rear. Oh well Thanks for the other vids though, PGG. I've been wanting to see the 'This Morning' vid for ages

Thanks for the added instructions, PGG. I was able to see the video this time. I think the problem comes up if you already have a YouTube account and your browser is set to automatically log you in when you go to YouTube. When I go to YouTube, I'm already logged into my account, so I cannot see the invitation to log in on a private video. I had to log out of my account, close the browser window, and then click on the video link (above) again. This time, since I was not automatically logged into my own account, it showed me the log in invitation. Then, I used the special (PGG's) log-in information and it took me straight to the video. P.S. It's pretty mind-boggling to think that Rufus appears for less than 3 minutes in that whole film! (The BEST 3 minutes, of course, but still ... )

Thanks PPG - especially for putting Rufus' scenes from the Tourist together. These are really the best 2.09 min of the film - I thought the rest was just (insert big yawn) ;D
