Not to worry Lindragon! LOLspeak does sound odd, doesn't it? This Wikipedia article does a pretty good overview: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolcat"b*tch, please" is defined (by UrbanDictionary.com) as "A response used when someone says something stupid or when somebody tries you." It supposedly has its roots in inner-city prostitution ... a pimp would say this to one of his "girls" who said something stupid. Do a Google search for images of "b*tch, please" and you'll see what I'm talking about. Hope this helps!

Thanks, Judy. Had a look, it all makes sense now. I must say, I was reading the 'B, p' rather differently. Could have got myself into trouble, in a real situation. ( Look at them again, with your reaction to 'The Look' pics, instead of 'you what?' as a reaction. ) What was it Churchill said about being divided by a common language.

LOL! "b*tch, please!" is usually said in a sarcastic, some might say derogatory, manner to get the correct effect. (And here in the South, we would make the word "please" have two syllables ... "puh-LEEZE!")

Can't see the pic, Nell - there's just a red X Lindragon, there's a "lolcat" translator here, if it helps: speaklolcat.com/
