What are you lot like?  I've seen all the messages and they're all lovely. I'm sure Rufus will be thrilled to read them all. Some have photo's, there are traditional birthday greetings, poetry and artwork. It's great that they're all quite different. It'll make a much more interesting read. Megagem - your message arrived today. Don't worry I was gentle with him it ;D. Keep sending them in please. It would be nice to reach the number of messages we had on last years card. Otherwise I might think you lot have no faith in my card making, maybe some of you think I'm too naughty? I promise to be very well behaved  ;D |

LOL Nell, when you get the one in the mail on the lovely yellow envelope that looks like it was written by a rabid badger, you'll know what I'm talking about.....I put in a note for you, too, though I have my doubts that you'll be able to read it!!

I would love to see Rufus' smile when he receives his card(s) this year. (because I will know that a part of my wishes is there too!) I hope someone will be lucky enough to be there (in UK or in US) to give it to him in person.

You'll need to go back a couple of pages to see my confirmation. Thanks for the use of the photo. Chocolate - part of me would love to give it to him personally. The other part would die of embarrassment. No need to worry about that though - I think there's more chance of me winning the lottery! |

Rumantic, I sent mine off last Thursday afternoon (I really wanted to get it off before travelling) sooo...mine took a week exactly (coming from SC, of course).

I can't believe it!! A few weeks ago I specifically went into a shop called 'Paperchase' and bought some postcard sized pieces (yes more than one, but I was sure I would make lots of mistakes ;D) of card for my Rufus message and put them 'somewhere safe'. Today, as everyone else had gone out, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to sit down and and get my message done. I am so frustrated because I can't find my bits of card anywhere  There doesn't seem to be any other card in our house either, well apart from cereal boxes, but a message on the back of cereal packet is not really what I had in mind ;D Sorry Nell I am afraid you will have to wait a little longer for my message - another trip to Paperchase I think next week! |
