I'm so glad it has been at least mentioned before. I don't know about the rest of you but once my Rufusitis hit I was taking note of all the work listed on his imdb page then scoured youtube for any videos at all of anything he'd ever done. If I hadn't seen British Film Forever listed on imdb (under his 'self' tab), I wouldn't have had any idea since I missed the show's original airing and knew nothing of it to begin with.

Thanks for finding this little treasure Meg  Its a pity the other episodes are unavailable.  Its so interesting to hear him talking on a subject he obviously loves and yes I agree his mannerisms are so wonderful to watch.  |

You're right, rueful. I think there are about 6 parts in all. I only posted the parts that had Ruf in them because there are definitely some gory moments shown in some of the other parts. I've read in some previous threads that there are some RoofToppers who have a low tolerance for blood, gore, etc. so that's mainly why I didn't post every part. It is good for those who love film though, despite the yucky bits. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it in its entirety even if Ruf is only in it for about 15 seconds!

I've just sent a message to the guy who uploaded this episode to youtube (it's still the only one available for viewing) to see if he'll upload anymore. A lot of people on youtube won't continue uploading their material if there's no feedback, so we'll see what happens. I thought it would be worth a try seeing as it doesn't seem to be available anywhere else. Do you think we could try sending something to the BBC like what we did with Victoria Station? I don't know where exactly at the BBC messages like this would be sent to  |
