One of my favorite writers, David Sedaris, is doing a series of half-hour programs in which he reads a couple of his autobiographical stories. I just finished listening to Episode 1 on the iPlayer and it was wonderful! He's so funny and his stories are hilarious and touching at the same time. If you've never heard of him, give him a listen. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b011tzjy(Here's a link to the story that made him famous ... Santaland Diaries ... about the two years he spent playing an elf at Christmastime in Macy's in New York City: www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/47/christmas-and-commerce. It's under "Act Two" on the page.)

Thanks for the link, Judy! I've wanted to give Sedaris a try for a long time, good to be reminded. Rufus seems to like him, too: look here

, KMK! I missed that! One of the stories David S. reads in Episode 1 is from Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk.

Your thread reminded me that I had wanted to finally get acquainted with Sedaris when I read that Rufus snippet ;D
