There's a show on PBS called "Building the Great Cathedrals". Much more interesting now that I've met Tom Builder! video.pbs.org/video/1619317222(I hope both sides of the pond can see.)

OMG I'm visiting Salisbury, and I was reminded in one of the leaflets at the Tourist Office that the building of THIS cathedral was the inspiration for TPOTE! Salisbury Cathedral is Tom's !!!!!! How could I not have known that?!?! Oh Tom Builder..... Rufus is gorgeous any which way but Tom Builder just makes me swoon. Oh dear. Need a cup of tea to calm down.

Also amazing is the fact that actor David Oakes, who played the dastardly William Hamleigh, was educated at the Salisbury Cathedral Close and his father is currently the Cathedral's Canon.
