You are welcome everyone. It is certainly not my favourite Rufus look but he really has this cool aristocratic touch and sits very nicely on a horse I must say. As for the wig, in some scenes it looks a bit funny and in other's it's actually okay. The making of is really quite funny, well of course Rufus is funny.

I'm a little puzzled why everyone seems to hate this movie. Sure, the movie's pretty terrible and Armand's a standard villain. But Rufus always makes even a standard villain interesting. What I liked best was the second kissing scene when he thinks Elena has agreed to marry him. Armand is so happy and tender and vulnerable. It's poignant because we know she doesn't love him. I hear he'd just come off the Tristan and Isolde set (love Marke!) and this scene had a lot of the sweetness with which Marke reacts to Isolde. And, yeah, I do love Rufe's natural hair, but this too was pleasing. I thought he looked devastatingly handsome, but then doesn't he always?

Welcome to The Rooftop, Jo! Some of us may not like the film very much, but we certainly don't hate Rufus in it, far from it. The hair, for me.....definitely! You're absolutely right, we never get a one-dimensional villain from him, he always manages to make them real and human (well....maybe not the next role! ;D) and believable. (Hey, why don't you introduce yourself properly with a new thread HERE? We'd love to know more about you!)

Thanks for sharing all these screencaps, zenina! They're fantastic, and I've already put them to use (good or otherwise) in the games threads!

Thanks for these Zenina. I'm not keen on this movie either but you made me want to buy it looking at those extras. Of course Rufus was great in his role but I hated everything else about the movie. The first one Mask of Zorro was even worse (probably because it didn't have Rufus in it ). Hubby put it on 3 times and I made him turn it off each time after 10 minutes. I finally tortured myself into watching the whole thing. Both films are so cheesy, the stupid OTT sword fighting, the accents....... I could go on ! < I usually do ! ;D> Zenina - I don't have your principles, I think I could overlook the megalomania

The caps make me want to watch it again, too - only saw part of it (including the end) a long time ago when I had no idea that someone called Rufus Sewell even existed

Nothing new to see here, Rooftoppers! Then why am I posting? Because I'm tired of having to go back 3 pages in the Works thread every time I want to answer Adina's anti-Armand Cap-Its. Sorry! ;D

LOL, Rueful! Maybe we need a sub-board just for the screencaps?

That might be useful for the game-players. I don't know how other people would feel about it though. Maybe they prefer not having to dig through another subboard.
Anyone else have an opinion?

I think it's a good idea to have all the screencaps in one place.
