Thanks for the new pics! Billy is getting tall & is quite a cutie. Poor baby, he didn't seem to like having those pictures taken & who can blame him. I hope he enjoyed the rest of his time there.

I actually love this little picture of Billy and Rufus. Out here in the land of la, children of celebrities often seemed so drugged or dazed and out of it--as if they are used to having cameras stuffed into their faces and the only thing that really matters anyway is their parents and their issues.
Billy is behaving like a normal little boy who wants to go in and see Scooby Doo. Daddy doesn't come first. Billy does. Exactly what you'd expect from a 5 year old.
Hurray for Amy and Rufus. They seem to be raising a normal child.

Doesn't this make you wish we had a photo of Rufus when he was five, just to see what he was like as a nipper?

Rufus is looking good! Billy looks like he just wants everyone to leave him alone so he can enjoy the show. Cute kid, though.

Bugger, I had a chance to go to this. AND I have an eight year old as a perfect excuse. If only I'd known that this pair of beautiful boys would have been there....not sure I'd want Rufus to see me in 'Mum' mode though, what with the semi-permanent frown lines and the haunted look of someone who will be co-erced into buying nasty blue sweets any minute now....

Ruthy, but you're forgetting . . . you would have probably been next to Rufus on line being coerced as well by Billy to buy those nasty sweets as well . . .

Oh yes, and we could have exchanged one of those 'harassed parent' type looks and I could have said "Don't worry darling, it gets worse" and reminisced about the days when we would have been at the Apollo for a Bowie concert or a bit of comedy, not Scooby friggin' Doo........

My eight year old's a complete Scooby Doo addict. I think she's seen every episode and movie at least a dozen times. And we were in London over Easter and saw the ads for the live show.........But did we go? No, we went to see The Sound of Music (which sadly didn't feature Connie as Maria, but the girl who normally plays Liesl) and The Lion King instead.
But we enjoyed the trip. And I've come back with photos from The Tower of London of her looking cross, and that was just with me and not a hoard of press photographers taking the snaps!
I wonder if they let Billy's hair grow a bit, would he have curls? He is quite like his Dad I think and tall for his age too.

I wonder if they let Billy's hair grow a bit, would he have curls? I reckon he would - and Daddy'll be ready to warn him about the "Curse of the Curls" if he ever decides to become an actor (but, Billy, they'll get you the girls, when you're interested!)

Aww, his son is cute and looks like him. I hadn't seen him before! *gush*
About the lack of curls...maybe he'll get them when he gets older. I have curly(ish) hair, but it was only slightly wavy when I was a kid.
Kind of off-topic: It's funny, there is this tv commerical for a pizza place that's been playing here lately, there's a little boy in it that reminds me of a mini-Rufus. He looks exactly like how I would imagine Rufus looked as a child.
