Hi all, just wanted to update Rooftoppers on my hubby’s marathon run yesterday. The weather in London was dry with some sunshine and a little breeze, which was good as spectators but runners would have preferred a little less sun! He ran his first ever marathon in 4 hrs and 45 mins and has so far raised £2,000 for the Mid Essex Hospital Trust, which under it's Trust is the Hospital that treated by daughter back in 2010. We are all extremely proud of him and just wanted to share this with you all.

Yay!!! Well done, Mr Ruthie! One of my cousins took part in the marathon last year for the first time, and he was so upset that he was unable to take part in it this year. When I saw him last year, he told me he couldn't describe what it was like to finish it. The feeling was too incredible for words. Wouldn't it be cool if Mr Ruthie decides to run it again next year and the both of them end up running side-by-side!

Well done Mr Ruthie!!! Please pass on respect from me and Mr Nell! We did look out for Mr Ruthie on tv yesterday morning - gosh they started early! I hope he enjoyed it and doesn't have too many aches and pains today.

Well done Mr Ruthie. I saw some of the coverage on the TV and the runners make it look so easy!! I think I would struggle to walk 26 miles - never mind run and keep running.
Well done again!
