GE2 - Thanks for all the photos you've posted....lovely to have so many to browse over. More to come later today from me. Nell - Looks like I am either praying or preparing to place my hands under his feet (or both maybe). LOL - in reality I was looking for a photo and my camera!!!! At that point in time I had about 25 thumbs and they were not working together!!

Ok, slightly more compos mentis today! I'm beginning to remember a question or 2 and the answers. There was the usual about what type of genre does he prefer, was asked about horror, he works alot in the US lately etc, etc. He doesn't have a preferred genre just likes a good role in a a good film / series. he likes variety and doesn't like to be tied into anything for too long. He was a fan of the hammer house of horror when he grew up. He tends to get offered more work in the US these days but has done a couple of things in the UK lately and would like to work more in the UK but if he's going to be fussy about the roles he chooses he can't be fussy about where he works. the man with the nail extensions asked a question. Not sure which. We missed the first few minutes of the q and a as we had to queue for our phones and cameras outside the auditorium. We were told the q and a was 1.15 (as was tweeted) and it started at 12.45. The auditorium was full, it sounds like some people chose to hang around the q and a stand waiting after not getting into the auditorium hence there was already quite a crowd before we got downstairs. I wouldn't have missed it for the world though! Perhaps Lassie or LTM can remember some more?

Woke up this morning and my feet feel better ;D Ok folks here is my journal of Rufus Trip (what I can remember anyway!) 10. 00 pm Friday night - drove to friend's (Kath) house to stay the night - couldn't go earlier as she was at a quiz night. Saturday 6.15 am - ate huge bowl of porridge & got washed & dressed. 7.00 am - Kath and I on the train - it was on time and no delays 8.30 am - arrive a Euston and get tube tickets to 'Angel' tube. Follow people with red and pink hair as we think they must be going to the Kapow convention - we were right. 8.50 am ish - arrive at centre and told to queue by walking up the road and round to the left. As we are walking up the hill we hear a voice - it's LTM calling to us - she is already in the queue so we join her and people around do not mind at all - how lovely! 9.15 ish - get in to centre - put coats in cloakroom and then spend the next frustrating 20 mins or so trying to find out what we do and where we go in order to see ALVH. We were told so many different things by members of staff. Eventually we bumped into Lucy ( an organiser of the event) who told us what to do and where to go - "wait outside the building". 9.45 am - Nell arrives to find 3 very harrassed, uptight women who bombard her with the stories of what they were told by various staff members. 10.00 am - Yippee we are told we can start queueing for ALVH - we are the first in the queue ;D. Staff member says as long we have our raffle tickets (that she gave us) we can go wander around the convention and then go to auditorium later. A couple of minutes later she says sorry no - you have to stay in this queue and wait to be escorted to auditorium. I naughtily left the queue very quickly to grab some coffees (thanks Helen) and Kath went to have a quick look around the convention (she not being a big Rufus fan). Went back to queue with coffees and waited and waited trying very hard to keep calm (to be honest I felt quite numb - don't think I believe I was there and that Rufus would be there later. Sorry I have to stop there as out for the rest of the day and husband is shouting are you ready yet! Will say more later and post my pic that LTM kindly sent to me. Lassie x

Just thought I'd point that out as proof I can take a pic occasionally. It's pretty damn awesome if I saw so myself!
