Thank you, Kissmekate! This sort of articles work like the 'Facebooth' project - 10 snappy lines, yes, he is the same Rufus. ;D (I think, Germanlady, that "ish" only changed the noun into an adjective, unchanged meaning.) P.S. Rufus's characteristic smile: one side of his lips curl up, the other side... He is good at twisting: smile, reply...balloon. ;D

@gl: Urban Dictionary may be helpful here. I think Rufus is using the word here as a synonym for "idiotic".

Great find, Kate! Thanks for posting it! I've said this a million times before, but it never fails to impress me, how he takes semi-stupid (or outright stupid) questions and turns his answers into something intelligent and/or funny. Now you’ve quit smoking and drinking, what’s your worst habit?I have about 100 coffees a day. I’m determined to have one kind of toxin in my body. You’ve said you had a period of dressing ‘like an 1980s twat’. What did you mean? The generic ways in which a twat would express himself. In the 1980s it was by way of Duran Duran and David Bowie, now it’s about Abercrombie & Fitch; but it’s exactly the same twattish impulse. P.S. Rufus's characteristic smile: one side of his lips curl up, the other side... He is good at twisting: smile, reply...balloon. ;D , Adina! You make a brilliant analogy, as usual!

Goodness, I missed so much. Thanks for posting this KMK and to everyone for all the promotional pics and interviews I've just caught up on. I particularly like the use of the word "twatish" .

Interesting picture online, in the actual magazine they use a Rufus around the time of playing Tom Builder picture. Can't scan it as I have the evening standard app.

I don't believe the coffee thingy he'd need a port-a-loo to cope with that much fluid. He's doing one of his leg -pulls again!

Oh, but he's often said he's a caffeine junkie! At least part of it must be true

True. When he was in rock n roll, I think he said in an interview that he kept buying lattes. But then, if I remember right, he also said he never actually finished all of them!
