Hi Mena and welcome aboard. I too love Dangerous Beauty, like you have watched it several times and I absolutely love the music too. It was one of the first of his films that I recorded from the TV, then bought the DVD. This was following discovering Rufus in the BBC series Zen, and I haven't been the same since. Do try to get this in your collection if you haven't already, it is wonderful. So much to enjoy, and enjoy the Rooftop. Jamolivej.

I'm in Arkansas. As far as other Rufus movies, I just watched Vinyan, just for the eye candy though, the story wasn't really my favorite. Ofcourse the Pillars, totally awesome, until he died that is. I had to force myself to watch the rest after that Thanks for the awesome welcome. I look forward to being around.

So you've still got a lot of Rufus works ahead of you I envy you a little bit. There's nothing like the first time Try to get "The Woodlanders" and "In a Savage Land". They're relatively hard to get but very much worth watching. Among my other favourites are the gorgeous Zen, Illuminata, Taming of the Shrew and adorable young Rufus in "A Man of No Importance".

I have seen the Woodlander's, very good, but why oh why does he have to die in all these movies anyway, I'm trying to get my hands on those other films that you mentioned, but I'm having a hard time finding them. I'm not sure why, but, I took a hiatus from my obsession and just recently became reaquainted with my "crush" from years ago so I do have a lot of catching up to do

That was my main complaint too when I first started watching Rufus's films--the 3D effect. He always wound up Dumped by a woman, Defeated, or Dead (originally I considered this one as Disemboweled, but since then I've seen him go a number of ways ). If you're looking for something cheerier, Cold Comfort Farm is hilarious, and Uncorked (which is also known as Higher Love and At Sachem Farm outside the US) is Rufus at his sweetest. I'm sure the catching up will be a lot of fun, and a bit expensive, but worth every penny! ;D

And don't forget in Eleventh Hour we have almost 18 hours of Rufus as a good guy and he doesn't even catch a cold, much less die!

Welcome Mena!
It's great meeting people from all over the world isn't it?
I agree with the others - there's no limit to the amount of times a film should be watched. You may have noticed the movie of the week thread in "the work of Rufus Sewell" we try to link a movie to what's going on around us and watch it that week. It's a bit of fun.
Nice to see you here

Hi Mena, a belated welcome from me too! Nice to have you on the Rooftop. My favourites are Taming of the Shrew and Zen but I love everything Rufus does as we all do and can't wait to see all the new projects in the pipeline. Look forward to seeing and hearing you around the RT.

Thanks everyone for all the movie suggestions. I've searched everywhere and it looks like I'm just gonna have to break down and buy some movies. So sorry to my DH, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do
