Hopefully we will hear something soon. Maybe he is filming his parts early since he will be tied up Jan-April. I really dont think it works that way though.

Hi all. Kygal, Lovethemanrs, parts can be filmed early. Rufus's Fortinbras was filmed early (or was it late?) for Hamlet as he was on stage when the main filming was done. It was definitely filmed outside of the normal schedule according to the Director's commentary on the DVD.

So many actors must have commitments that clash and they don't want to turn parts down (that they want) if they can avoid it. Also it enables the film makers to get the actor they want for the role....

Well, as I've reported in the Old Times reviews thread, we don't have anything to look forward to after all. I asked Rufus about it, and he said it was kind of an audition tape for a friend of his who was directing, for him (the friend) to show Warner Brothers in the hopes of getting a deal there. Sadly, it won't be seen outside of WB - sounds like it was just a favour by Rufus and Anton. (It was funny that he didn't seem surprised I knew about it - I think he must realise we get to hear about any little snippet of news!! )

Looks like that little project Rufus was working on with Anton Yelchin was a short film! It has a Kickstarter now, and if it gets funded, we'll be able to see it!
