This new picture could work as a perfect photo to promote their Wodehouse project, "Uncle Fred in the Springtime". Rufus as Ricky Gilpin, let's use Uncle Fred's words, "the poet with the punch". And Jared Harris as Rupert Baxter, Dunstable's secretary, who receives the egg that the duke wants to throw at the singing gardener.  I love how Ricky finds Dunstable's things "very sensible". "Oh, by the way, Uncle Alaric, there is just one small point. Would you rather give me your check before I pinch the pig or after?" And Baxter spots the impostors, but he can be blackmailed because he attended the ball.  Pure fun! Thanks, Laila, for the pic. Seeing the BIFA gallery of the photographer - half of the series is "handsome", the other half is "pull-a-face" - they two did both at the same time.  |
