I ordered 'Restless from ezydvd.com.au a few weeks ago. This is an Australian company but there was no region description on it.
I was not concerned about regions as I have a multi region player.
It arrived a few days ago. After I discussed it with another member, I have watched it on a Region 2 (Europe) player.
For Rooftoppers who have Region 2 players and so may have hesitated to buy this,it is more expensive than EU P&P etc £19, I am glad to say it played beautifully, excellent reproduction.
I enjoyed it again and now I can safely delete it from my V-box
Only fault I could find, and it is a big disappointment ..it has no extras.

Thanks for letting us know about the DVD, Frannie. Your information helped me make a decision--every once in a while on ebay, an Emmy "For Your Consideration" dvd for Sundance comes up for bid. Besides Restless, it's got some other shows like Top of the Lake. (Note some people are also selling each show separately, so if you're looking, be sure to look for one that includes Restless.) I've been holding off getting one, since I don't have an all-region player and I was hoping to get a "real" dvd with extras. But since there aren't any extras anyway, I bought an emmy set other day. Here's another set up for bid for a few more days. (I feel like Adhemar throwing bread to the hungry peasants. Hope it doesn't cause a riot.  ) |

I find it daft that this DVD seems to have its release everywhere before it's released in the UK. Amazon(UK) now has a release listed for 28 April 2014. (The year is important, with so many of Rufus's films being released in some form mere years after being filmed...  ). I couldn't find anything for France or Germany (yet?). |
