Regarding the Daily Mail review: Hmmmm critics...a breed apart. Those that can't do, let loose to comment on those who most often have abundant talents. Yet the critics have their place and a job to do! I wonder if he would have the same point of view if he saw the play a second time! Other critics with more depth will more than likely come up with better reviews of the play. The performances, however are brilliant all round. And as much as I like David Essex and with respect to him...... (Is Mr Sewell not the thinking woman’s David Essex?)..I do feel that Mr Sewell is a class or three above. I do like the 'thinking woman's' comment thought... As for me, have been giving it a great deal of thought, and I do prefer KST in the role of Anna with Lia as Kate. Perfect casting.

Thank-you, everyone, for posting these pics. And also for the reviews..... except this one... I agree with b.b. Seriously, what do we expect from the Mail ? It's a glorified red-top, these days! The Telegraph, Guardian/Observer and Times are generally more measured. Although I may decide that they are red-tops if they don't praise Rufus to the sky! Love the star-smiley, Adina!!!! And I can only agree with LTM.

I read the DM critique with dismay too. No comment on performance, but as he admitted to being 'baffled' and 'bored' maybe that's to be expected. While I like the comment about being 'well equipped with cheek bones' it's a bit much to limit comments to physical appearance only. I was reminded (as was Lovethemanrs) of the saying 'Those who can, do, those who can't, teach, and those who can do neither become critics'.

Mmm... there's a reason it's more often called the Daily Fail! I'm so glad it's getting good reviews though, otherwise
