Ophelia: FANTASTIC Ophelia, I am so delighted that you finally got to meet Rufus. Love the photo and the hat! Hope we will all get to share the photo that Mr Nell took of you with Rufus. Nice that you caught up with other Rooftoppers. Hopefully there will be even more pics to see soon. This year has started off so well and we still have so much to enjoy. |

Went to see Old Times on Wednesday at the matinee performance with hubby and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. At that performance Lia played Anna and would now like to see Kristin in that role, however, IMHO Rufus stole the show and hubby agreed too! Had arranged to meet some other Rooftoppers and happened to mention that I was wondering whether Rufus would actually come out as it was only the matinee performance and was re-assured that when they went the previous night they had asked him if he would be popping out as some of the others would be there and he said "Yes"! OMG, how happy was I?!  Lovely surprise meeting a few Rooftoppers along the way . It was lovely to bump into Ophelia and another Rooftopper (whom I have never met before) and we all managed to have a group chat and individual photos taken, although we were very fortunate that Mr Nell was there, so waiting to see the "professional photos" rather than mine on my phone, as in my haste to leave left my camera at home!  Had a brilliant day finished off with a lovely dinner with hubby, a sort of "date night". Lol  |

Love the new avatar Ruthie  I was fortune to get to the play again and I managed to see the ladies swap roles. I absolutely loved it! Fantastic performances. I thought that when Lia played Kate she came across as nervous and a bit neurotic and when Kristen played Kate she played her as more cold and aloof. In both performances she Kate was withdrawn. I loved the differences and thoroughly enjoyed seeing both versions. I particularly liked Lia as Kate and Kristen as Anna. Rufus was outstanding each time! The positions changed depending which actress played Kate. This must have been tricky remembering who should be where and when. I probably said this before but Rufus threw himself into the role. I loved the changes of pace and emotions. Hubby also came twice to see the play and thoroughly enjoyed it too. Of course we all loved saying Hi to Rufus after the show too. As usual he was utterly charming and lovely and very generous to us all. So here are a couple of pics I have so far.....................  Rufus looking fabulous...... me completely windswept and one I took last night  His feet would have been in the pic and he would have been more in focus but he spotted us and walked up to greet us. You can see he's saying hello  Unfortunately my camera doesn't come out often. I tend to forget it's in my bag Edited to add another pic from last night.....................   |

I should have added it was lovely seeing everyone that was there. I hope you didn't find me too bossy when I organised you all for photo's. I'm used to doing that for hubby It was a one time special as far as Rooftop events are concerned ;D I promise to pm all the pics of yourselves asap. |

I'll let you in on a secret. I don't actually stand at the stage door but away from it. On this occasion I walked towards it when the gathering dispersed. It all feels a bit overwhelming at the stage door for me. |
