Just wanted to say how wonderful it was to meet other Rooftoppers and of course Rufus  I saw the actresses in both roles and I recommend it to anyone who is lucky enough to get to see the play. It definitely adds an extra dimension to the play and the audience reaction seemed different too. It is very difficult to remember what Rufus says when he is standing in front of you , but I think he said he is the person who will toss the coin to decide who will play Kate and Anna in certain performances. I want to say a big thank you to Mr Nell for the photo below. I went to speak to Rufus to ask him to sign a photo for me and have my picture taken and it was only after I had walked away that I realised my camera was still in my pocket   Had a wonderful time  |

Well I certainly am...wonderful....keep 'em coming. Looks as if Mr Nell did a whole photoshoot... I'd love to be able to practise on Rufus..with a camera... ;D Will you send Rufus a set of these, he'd be chuffed to bits. |

I really have to thank y'all for your generosity in posting your pictures, your impressions of the play, and your accounts of meeting Rufus. I especially love the non-Rufus pictures that add so much to this thread, the pictures of the theater, the cast pictures, etc. It allows those of us who won't have the chance to see Rufus in this play have a taste of what the experience would be like.
And Nell - I think Mr. Nell has some competition in the photographer stakes! Your first solo pic of Rufus was great. But I guess he'll say he taught you everything you know!

It helps to have such a photogenic subject  Mr Nell usually says it's a fluke. He's probably right! Here's a non-Rufus one taken opening evening. Hubby took a pic then asked me who it was. I told him I thought I'd just seen Twiggy only it couldn't be her as she looked too young. He thought it was one of the Spice Girls  Twiggy and hubby Leigh Lawson - don't they look lovely together!? |

You know, in all these photos, it's wonderful to see Rufus looking so very happy and healthy - he's clearly enjoying life right now, and it's lovely to be able to share in that with him. |
