Hey everyone who has posted pics and stories here - I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed every single post. Rufus looks gorgeous and so do all of you who were lucky enough to get a pic with him! And, I've said this before I know, but it's so nice to hear that he is attentive to his fans and takes the time after every show to spend some time with them. I am so happy that he is getting so many offers now.

Saw OT again yesterday. Was at the Matinee performance and evening performance. Every time I see the play, it gets better and better. After the afternoon performance, Rufus said hello again. Oh my he remembers me.  I thanked him for last Saturday, regarding my children and my niece. Told him they were so thrilled in meeting him and that they were still buzzing. Also I met the gorgeous Dreamer. Dreamer showed me some of her artwork, very talented woman. Finally gave my portrait to Rufus. He asked if he could have a look. He opened it up and said .  . He smiled and said he loved how I had given him butch hands. In the evening performance, was luck to see Lia Williams and Kristin Scott Thomas at the stage door. Rufus smiling, and so happy. Another perfect day. Dreamer enjoy your time in London and it was lovely meeting you.  Dreamer, Rufus and myself.  Rufus and me. Can I get any closer?? I am so short!!! Love Ophelia X |

Awwww Ophelia (and Dreamer) - You both look so lovely there with Rufus...Well done O re the picture, you can sleep at nights now...Butch hands...how cute is he?... Oh and Ophelia love your scarf...reminds me of paper chains at Christmas as a kid. x |

Went again last night and was lucky enough to see the role reversal and like so many of you have said, prefer Kristin as Anna. I too noticed the difference in the audience, the evening performance was more lively, well it was last night, and so many laughs, almost seemed like I had attended two completely different plays!  When we came out it had started to drizzle and there were only a handful of people waiting at the Stage Door, then a guy from the theatre came out and told us that Kristin would not be coming out as she was attending the Book of Mormons Opening Night party but if we had anything we wanted signing she would be happy to do so. So he collected the bits and off he went, in the meantime Lia came out and signed some other bits and then she went. The theatre guy came back out with the signed items from Kristin and disappeared back inside. It must have been about 10 minutes later when he re-appeared and informed us that unfortunately, Rufus was now also attending the party and would not be coming out, but was more than happy to sign anything we wanted. We were all a little disappointed and I did feel for one American lady who had been a fan for 16 years but had never had the opportunity to see him and this time when she visited London was thrilled that he was in a play and she thought this could finally be the chance to get a photo with him. We handed over our tickets, programmes, books and the photo that Mr Nell kindly took last time ;D, for signing. We were accepting the fact that we wouldn’t get to have any photos with him tonight and packing away our cameras, when who should appear, but the man himself! He said that when he saw all the bits for signing, he felt guilty and popped outside to say hello, we asked him if we could take a very quick photo and like the gentleman he is, he obliged and was happy for us all to have a photo with him. As you have seen from the pics posted by GE2, he looked gorgeous in his suit and all Rooftoppers that have met him know that in the flesh he looks even better, if that is possible! It’s definitely the eyes! Whilst I was packing away my camera, I did manage to ask him quickly about his new role in Hercules and he said that he was pleased that for once he was playing a “Good Guy” in a major film and was looking forward to it. The photos I took were on my son’s camera and as he has just come back from his Duke of Edinburgh trek, he has promised that he will upload them over the weekend. |
