So, any news on this? Did the financing and all that get though?
There's a minute chance I might be around too, depending on finances, railways and the definition of summer. Haven't the faintest idea how to find out where the filming will take place and Paris is big. Huge. I'd even go so far and say it is humongous. Finding a filming location would be like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack...

Hi Ginny..and welcome to the board.
I was lucky enough to be one of the people who went into London to see Rufus perform in Old Times. A few of us spoke to him on the last day (6th April) and we asked him about various projects that he was involved with. Helen was one of the topics we discussed. He told us that it was all dependent on getting the funding. Don't know if the situation has altered since then.
If it goes ahead, hope you find him in Paris. Good luck x

That was more or less the question I was asking. I read the original post as an announcement that they were going to look for funding etc. during the Berlinale. That was two months ago and I haven't been able to find an update. You'd think something more should be known by now. Summer is starting soon.
Still looking for a needle/haystack pun and not succeeding.

Hercules has a four and a half month shoot, so even if funding is obtained for "Helen", summer filming is out now, by the looks of it.
