Should we diarise the 1st November so we can all register and nominate Old Times, Rufus and Kristin &/or Lia? awards.whatsonstage.com/about-the-awardsawards-archive.whatsonstage.com/index.php?pg=1251"The Whatsonstage.com Awards, the “theatregoers’ choice”, are the only major theatre awards in which you, the audience, are the judges across all categories. Key dates for the 2013 Awards (covering the 2012 theatre year) are: 1 November - nominations open; 30 November - nominations close; 7 December - Launch party, shortlists announced, voting opens; 31 January - Voting closes; and 17 February - Awards Ceremony and Concert, winners announced."

and I'd say we need to do better than in 2007 ... (I didn't know about the awards then) :
BEST ACTOR IN A PLAY -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kevin Spacey – A Moon for the Misbegotten at the Old Vic 30.8% Alan Cumming – Bent at Trafalgar Studios 26.4% David Haig – Donkeys’ Years at the Comedy 7.1% Iain Glen – The Crucible, RSC at the Gielgud 10.3% Michael Sheen & Frank Langella – Frost/Nixon at the Donmar Warehouse & Gielgud 12.1% Rufus Sewell – Rock ‘n’ Roll at the Royal Court & Duke of York’s 13.3%

Good find, BB! We should definitely keep that date in mind (however, would Old Times be already eligible if they are referring to the theatre year 2012?)

Good find, BB! We should definitely keep that date in mind (however, would Old Times be already eligible if they are referring to the theatre year 2012?) I know, it's confusing isn't it? I've emailed the query: do the 2013 awards, with the ceremony held in 2014, cover theatre productions from 1 December 2012 to 30 November 2013? I'll keep you all posted.

I've just had confirmation that the above is correct: the 2013 awards, with the ceremony held in 2014, cover theatre productions from 1 December 2012 to 30 November 2013. So this means Old Times is eligible!!

Thanks very much, Barbicanbelle! Voted!
Besides Rufus, you can nominate his co-stars, the play (Best Revival of a Play), Theatre Event of the Year, and possibly Equity Best West End Show (I say possibly on the last one because I wasn't there--can someone confirm that?).
