"It’s a really entertaining, thought-provoking and fun play. If it’s not fun, there’s no point. It goes very deep, but you don’t need to have your thinking cap on to get it.
As always with Stoppard, if you don’t want to go too deep, there are lots of jokes on the surface that you can get something out of."

I think the great thing about Tom Stoppard plays (particularly when audio only) is that you enjoy the surface jokes on the first listening, but then you can listen over again a few more times and pick up on something else each time. Eventually I even feel like I understand it 

In between segments of the album, which is played out in its entirety, Emily has a series of surreal encounters with various random characters including her moral philosophy tutor (Sewell), a witch-finder (Nighy), the nameless subject of a philosophical “thought experiment” (Iwan Rheon) and a selfish banker (Adrian Scarborough).

The selfish banker huh?! So I guess the surface jokes have started already...... and the humour brings it bang up to date. But then again I guess there have always been selfish bankers in every walk of life

Well, that was...interesting! I enjoyed Floyding, even if it was a little confusing - or maybe I just did my usual thing of listening to the sound of Rufus's voice without actually taking in what he was saying!

Oh, well.....I'll just have to listen to it again, won't I? Hehehe

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to listen live last night, but I hope I'll get my hands on it via Radio Downloader. I'm sure it will be another brilliant script by Sir Tom!

I don't think that you'll be able to use the radio downloader after the last update - but it's available on the i-player and probably also for foreign URLs without using a proxy server:

I have never managed to install the update Last time I tried, downloading something wasn't a problem. I'll just give it a try tonight.

IMHO that's a total work of art, another masterpiece of Tom Stoppard - everything fits together: the music and its text, the words of the play. Plus the graphic art and of course, the voices make it perfect!
