Oh my goodness, Rufus reading from Dickens's Christmas Carol?! That looks a fantastic playlist. Very nice find, Ginny. Thanks!

Thanks for the playlist - looks good ;D
I have written myself a huge note and left it on the kitchen work-top to remind me to tune in!!!!!!

Remind me never to leave a note on the kitchen work top again!!!! My hubbie usually cooks and I do the clearing up. Today guess what time Sunday dinner was ready - 6.30 pm!!!!!! We had a guest visiting for the weekend and I am forever telling hubbie/son to switch off the radio (when listening to sport) when we sit down to eat, so I couldn't have the radio on You don't think it was done on purpose do you ?

, this was great!! I enjoyed every minute of it!!! (Well, maybe except Conlon Nancarrow's minutes - that Study number 21 is a creepy piece of music.) It was interesting and beautiful - time is a strong subject! - and I just love Rufus's voice and his style of reading. "Oh where can I find a potato clock?" ;D P.S. Oh, Lassie, iPlayer will cooperate!

So my text to remind you was wasted then, Lassie?! ;D Okay....not enough Rufus!!! But what there was, I enjoyed very much. Especially that "Potato Clock" reading - very clever! As always, though, I found myself getting so lost in the sound of Rufus's voice that I didn't really concentrate properly on what he was actually saying - so yes, Adina, that i-Player had better co-operate! ;D (I didn't record it - will do so later in the week)

Bet it's great! ;D *Yep, it WAS great! I love that Rufus is so diverse and includes radio in his little bag of goodies. ;D Also didn't know I liked Radiohead.

D H Lawrence PIANO and accompanying music. Just beautiful. Lassie, here was I thinking how organised you are. Still I'm sure you can catch up on I-Player.

It's also available for download via Radio Downloader. That's what I did, as I couldn't listen live yesterday. Can't wait!

Very enjoyable. That voice is amazing. Wish he would do another series of books on tape. I love A Christmas Carol and would love to hear him do more of that!
