An apple a day keeps the doctor away. That's why Hood couldn't come to save his life? "Apples Killed the Woodlander" I stole my logic from Bernard Nightingale. But his story got a more grandiose title: "Even in Arcadia - Sex, Literature and Death at Sidley Park"

But John Smith has a more evocative title in "The Man in the High Castle."

I have to say, Rachel, I don't know what you mean. "The Grasshopper Lies Heavy"? But that's not Smith's title. Or you think of his military rank? Well, the news reel, called "The Grasshopper Lies Heavy", mesmerized Juliana so much, she decided to travel to get the truth. In Vinyan, seeing the documentary made Jeanne want to travel to Burma... ...And Rufus's character is with her.

But Paul comes to a bad end - while Albert is at least still alive after Nancy's Internet-inspired adventure.

Albert looked good in a tux, but Dr Hood looked even better in one! (No argument from Rachel, methinks!)

(Quite right GE2!)
Yes Jacob Hood did rock that tux, but in everyday life he was rather rumpled. Zen on the other hand wore a sharp suit every day.

Sharp suits have their place, but Charlie's frills were also rather fetching - and more colourful!

When it comes to colourful period clothes, I'll have Will Ladislaw over Charlie any time. 19th century is more like my style, plus Will had those gorgeous curls!

Will had the curls, but Jasper had the girls!

Jasper was a jerk, though. Robbie was popular with the girls AND a nice guy.

But Robbie wore that awful orange sweater, even Albert with all his sweaters didn't have one that ugly.

But Albert had a troubled wife and a very joyless life. Petruchio had much more fun!

But Petruchio was a poor member of the nobility - Armand was rich.

Armand was rich but wore an ugly wig. Thomas Clarkson had a permanent bad hair day, too, but at least he was clever, witty and, in a way, sweet.

THomas may have been clever in a sweet way, but Jacob Hood was clever in a hot way.
