It was released here last weekend. I haven't seen it yet. Not sure when I will get the chance. That's a shame its been delayed in the UK!

I've an update. The following news story claims Gods of Egypt has been pulled from the cinema in the UK

Well, if it's done disappointingly in the US, then I can see the sense in pulling it from the UK.  I wasn't intending on seeing it in the cinema, anyhow, but waiting for the DVD.  Hopefully it will still get a DVD release in the UK, even without a cinema release.  Maybe that's why it was initially delayed; it might be heading for a straight-to-DVD UK release...

Some movies that bombed in the US have done well in the UK. I like to think the UK audience will make their own mind up rather than being lead by the nose by a bunch of let's jump on the bandwagon, single minded critics who'd decided to slate the movie before they'd even seen it.  Apparently the cast were not the right colour.  I didn't know mythical characters had a colour.  I hear they couldn't even find any actors with cats or dogs heads.  Geez where did they get the casting director from    I read another article which stated the movie would go straight to dvd in the UK.

I'll keep an open mind until I've seen it. After all my favourite actor is in it and he's always amazing!   Ta da!

I agree with Nell - there were many films or songs that flopped in the US and were a success in Europe and vice versa!

So let's hope for a dvd to come out soon!

That's bad news. I agree, I like what I like NO MATTER WHAT anyone else thinks! They should give it a chance elsewhere. I may have missed my chance. I think its already been pulled here. Sorry ladies, it would have been nice to report back on the performance of our favorite actor.

just watched GoE yesterday... movie is ok...

Rufus brilliant, also Gerry and Nicolaj .. that was...and Rufus as baddie...

Well, movie is ok, but not more... unfortunately... brillant actors at set, but low budget...

Just watched GoE in London's Imax in 3D. Let's just say it's not my kind of film, but what little we get of Rufus is gorgeous, as usual...
