In one of the articles that's been posted in the last couple of weeks, it does make mention of a 1962 Mercedes-Benz 220SE Coupe being rigged with explosives... negative

But, obviously, Rufus makes it out of the car before it does potentially go boom, as he's seen making a swift exit from it in one of the Daily Mail articles. good2

Still, it's a shame that a beautiful Mercedes-Benz might have to become a casualty of the rebel uprising instead...but as long as John Smith comes out of it with nothing more than a few scratches, it's not so bad.
