Rueful, you're really on a roll! Thanks for posting the interview. I found Rufus' comments about subscription TV interesting. I do sometimes think there is a lot of violence, nudity, and profanity, not because the story needs it but because the audience expects it from pay per view.

Great interview! Thanks for finding and posting Rueful and thanks for the info on series 2 BB I decided MITHC deserves it's own section on the front page. If anyone's looking for those lush pics from the Critics Choice Awards I moved them to the Rufus Nominated for a Critics Circle Award thread.

Great idea, creating a sub-board for MITHC. Thanks!

Thanks for doing the heavy lifting, Nell! TMITHC definitely deserves its own space.

Yes, the sub-board is definitely a good idea, especially since there will be a second season.

GE2 found and linked the print version of this interview months ago , but I don't know if we have the audio link to the interview. The interview starts at about 18 minutes. The written version is pretty complete, but there are tiny edits, and of course with the audio you get to listen to Rufus talking for 17 minutes (and is right about the name in the written version, but the interviewer gets bonus points from me for calling Rufus a national treasure!) Editing to say thanks to Nell for creating the new sub-board!

a lot for finding and posting the link to the audio, Rueful! If there was an earlier link to it, I missed it obviously. Pity that Rufus was not interviewed in a studio, it sounds more like it was done by telephone, but at least it was his voice even from seemingly far away! Although I had read the printed version, it was intriguing to hear how Rufus expresses himself.

I don't know whether this is the correct place to post this: There's a German interview with Frank Spotnitz about series he was involved as author or producer: www.sueddeutsche.de/medien/serien-autor-frank-spotnitz-wir-amerikaner-denken-die-boesen-das-sind-die-anderen-1.2854035 Title: American people think that the bad guys are always the others - unfortunately the interview is far too long to be translated now. Of course, TMITHC is mentioned and especially the intention of Frank Spotnitz to make his Nazi officers look like real persons with all their good and bad qualities. I guess this interview is more or less similar to one earlier posted on the RT (or the link to it)?

Nice telephone interview. Thanks again Rueful! I loved the series and I'm so glad it got picked up for a second Really like the ability to binge watch it and not have to put up with "previously" which takes us up to the first commercial break each episode. I have to say though, unlike Rufus I struggled to find much to watch on Amazon. A couple of movies, and a James Purefoy series, which did have the annoying "previously" (my pet hate). So Amazon if you want my money you need to keep renewing MITHC

Great point Nell. I also watch Bosch because I have been reading that series for years. That's it for me though.
