The pictures are fabulous, thanks to everyone for sharing. I just love the generosity of the rooftop ladies who take the time to share their pictures and experiences with those of us who can't be there.

Hi everyone, I managed to get tickets to see Closer via the Barclays Front Row on my second attempt, couldn't believe the first week all tickets sold out by 10:02! I went last Thrusday with hubby to the matinee performance. We have never seen the film, but knew that it was about two couples and their relationships. The Donmar is the perfect theatre, as the play is quite intense and with it being so intimate you really feel that you are there with them experiencing their highs and lows. I too think that it is a very clever idea for the actors to move the props about and very well choreographed! As there is no stage door, the actors, if they leave, come via the main entrance, so we waited patiently hoping that Rufus was going to come out as this had been their first double performance and we were not sure if he would, but about 10 mins later he appeared. There were about seven women, including four Rooftoppers (me being one) waiting to have photos, programmes and other bits signed, plus an actual photo with the man himself. Now, Rooftoppers that know me through Facebook, will know that for Christmas my hubby bought me several Rufus themed items So I decided to ask Rufus to sign my apron , I did warn him that he may find the next item 'cringey' and he was intrigued, until he saw it and then just laughed once he signed it HE suggested that we should have a photo taken whilst holding it up in front of us, so I was not going to refuse another photo Whilst Rufus was posing for some others photos I decided to take another photo of him with my phone this time and completely forgot about my phone cover and when he noticed it he said "is that meant to put be off?" and just at that moment I took the photo. The only downside to my day was that in all the excitement I didn't realise until later that I didn't have the flash on my phone or camera, as you can see from the Rufus pointing photo, luckily LTM was also there with her camera and kindly sent me the "apron" photo. Thank you again, LTM

Was lucky to be there when Ruthie showed the apron to Rufus. His face was priceless. He was funny and absolutely charming. As always. A beautiful man. The play was amazing and brilliant. There was drama, there was comedy. I laughed out loud. Rufus stole the show. You could not take your eyes of him. Lovely to see a number of Rooftoppers there. A perfect perfect day.
