I'm sorry he didn't win--his performance in TMITHC is amazing. We'll keep our fingers crossed for future awards.

I found Rufus' comments about subscription TV interesting. I do sometimes think there is a lot of violence, nudity, and profanity, not because the story needs it but because the audience expects it from pay per view.

I agree. And I love how honest he always is about the business part of show business.

Gutted he didn't win the award though. I know nothing about the other nominees. I wonder if MITHC being on a minor channel (Amazon is certainly minor in the UK) had anything to do wit it?!

Mr Robot, which is the show Christian Slater beat Rufus to the award for, is an Amazon show.  It's more established than MITHC, and is about to go into its second season.  MITHC has just finished its first season.

So, there might be some awards after the second season, when it's more established, and maybe even another nomination (or even a win) for Rufus.

Pretty sure Mr. Robot is a USA Network show in the US, but you can buy/stream it on Amazon. It's first season was Fall 2015.
