If anyone sees this let me know about it. I will probably wait until it comes to cable.

He may look happy but I miss the curls. Much prefer the scruffy Rufus.

Thanks for posting Barbicanbelle! Let us know about the movie if any one sees it. My fondness of Rufus may not get me to the theater for this one though.

Kygal, I read a review of this movie in the New York Times today. Not all together positive but definitely not a pan. He called Rufus’ character persnickety. But in a good way. You might not like it not just because it’s a M. Night Shyamaian creepy film but also because the reviewer noted it’s rated PG-13 for gorey scenes.

A little snippet from a review:
In the past, he has used famous actors. Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Joaquin Phoenix, and James McAvoy have appeared in two or more of his films. But this time he goes with a fresh young cast backed by stalwart English actor Rufus Sewell and well-tried Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal.
I call this movie strange, fresh, and innovative. “Old” is every bit of each of those adjectives. Best of all, it entertains us. We watch people live their whole lives in a day. Think for a minute what that kind of compression does to relationships between parents and children, between husbands and wives, and even between 6-year-old kids that become teenagers in a couple of hours. We as watchers get a lot to think about while we try to disentangle the story.
I have read mostly mixed reviews on this film.

I thought you might not like this one kygal. I know you have a low threshold for gore!

I think I would have preferred the Elvis movie role. Too bad he did not ask my opinion...lol.
