Her description of Rufus' hotness is hysterical! She needs to see more of his works!

Ovary clenching is pretty funny, I must admit, but my ovaries are the furthest thing from my mind when I think of Roof......in the right general area, I reckon.

Too funny! But Rufus's physical *ahem* appearance aside, they really trashed T+I overall. Do you suppose they saw the same movie the rest of us saw? It's one of my favorites.

I thought the same things 7sisters..........how did she dislike that film so much? I thought it was wonderful! Granted, I thought Lord Marke's part was better than that of Tristan......but still........I can't believe she trashed T&I so much!

Well, it would have been trashy without Rufus, IMHO. Since there was zero chemistry between Sophia Myles and James Franco, the "love" story would have been meaningless - the real love story, for me, was Marke's unrequited adoration of Isolde. You know, other actors must hate having Rufus as a supporting actor, 'cause he steals their thunder every time! ;D And long may he continue...

In all the reviews I've read it's inevitably mentioned that Rufus stole the scene time after time. Why is he so under-appreciated? (Except by our group, of course!)

Hey, if she thought T&I was bad, maybe she should watch Helen of Troy ! I fast-forwarded my way to Ruf's scenes! Pen

As in so many others, Roof is the best part of that TV film - he's in an altogether different class from most of the cast. The world may finally be realizing what we've known for ages!!

I agree, even in films that were, overall not very good, Rufus' performance alone brings it up several notches! He can make the smallest role seem like a KINGLY role and yet he can also take a very commanding role and play it down in a way to make it completely believable and real.......not cartoonish.

I fancied bumping this up - just to see what you all thought about the description of Rufus: "he is SCORCHINGLY HOT. We are talking about ovary-clenching degrees of hotness." I guess it may be new to some of you, like it was to me. I do find it rather apt!

Nice job of resurrecting material some of us "younger" ;D ;D members haven't seen yet. Wonder if any of them are fans for sure now?
