Unpopular perhaps, but can I speak up for the short-hair lovers? absolutely. I love Roof all shorn with a 5 o'clock shadow. Provide a picture. It's one of my favorite looks on him but he doesn't seem to wear it in public appearances in real life. |

Okay, how about this one? It's from aboutRufus so we'd need to ask Ginny if we can use it:  I LOVE that photo. It's one of the best professional photos of Rufus I have ever seen!!! You don't need my permission.  I scanned it from the Luther program. It was taken by Mike Smallcombe and I credited him on my site but I didn't get his permission to use it. Since it was in the program lots of people would have had access to it so you would probably be safe using it. If we try to get his permission, he might want to charge an arm and a leg or simply say no. Someone told me a long time ago that it's easier to get forgiveness than permission.  So far I've been very lucky with my website in that no one has threatened me with lawsuits and such. I did get one rather nasty message recently from a critic whose Luther review I had posted on the site. I took it down immediately, apologized, and complimented them on their sleuthing, since the review had been up for over 5 years. ;D G xo |

Okay, gang, here's the rub--it has to be a representive of the aritist to change the resume picture. So which of the these folks who represent Roof do we want to target? We need to focus on one of them because we aren't large and we need to look consolodated. Can we get everyone here to participate? It might serve a two-fold issue in that whomever we choose will understand there are people who care about his work.

I'm with the man himself; I'm not too keen on the big '80s bubble perm look. The most hair I can deal with is the TOTS look. |

If I may add my two cents worth on this subject. I think perhaps something a bit more current than the one presently on the page. He looks fantastic now but the pic certainly needs to be updated and hopefully soon. Maybe a publicity pic from Eleventh Hour.
