It's just something about that particular picture. I don't think they look much alike otherwise beyond a similar hair colour. I know people remarked on it when Rock 'n' Roll came out but honestly I think they were all from IMDB or something.  |

I don't think Rufus bears any more than a vaguely passing resemblance to Tom Stoppard, even when he was a similar age, although you could understand why TS might like to think that he does.

but seriously when Rufus was really thin last year at this time there was a slight resemblance to TS when he was quite young. TS wasn't an ugly man by a long shot.

I've got another picture of TS when he was closer to Rufus age. I'll try to dig it up and scan it. It's definately slight and as I said, I just see it in this picture Uke is using right now. Not usually anywhere else.
but I love that picture of TS. It's fantastic.
