Just tried it, maxx - it might be because I'm on dial-up, but for quite a while I was getting just a black screen with the web address, then the daisy-thing appeared, and again quite a while before the photo appeared, and then a while before it changed to the next one. It's not obvious you need to click on the daisy or the photo to get into the site - if one of the aims is to get people who are googling, they'll miss everything but the photos - although, having said that, the photos are rather delectable...! When I came online this morning I started getting all these gorgeous pictures and I wondered if I had come onto a new website. I didn't know we had something new! It's wonderful, and I didn't have a bit of trouble with it loading. I'm on a DSL "lite", not dial-up but not full DSL either, and it works fine. It's beautiful! Thanks, maxx. Great job!

can anyone on dial-up try it now? I've added a hyperlink to skip the intro in case there is a loading problem. Last thing I want to do is discourage anyone who wants to find out more about Rufus. thank you thank you!

I agree, if you don't know that it's a website, you'd think it is only a slideshow. I think it would be a good idea to add "enter the website by clicking on the photo" or something similar.

Maxx I have dial up and logged on four times. Each time the pics began within 2-3 sec. and proceeded beautifully. The hyperlink takes one quickly to the site which is a work of art itself! Love, love love the slideshow. Big Thanks for all your creativity & hard work! I'm sorry am I gushing?

Absolutely wonderful entrance to the site. I could never skip the intro. You've selected a wonderful collection of photos.
With regards to the Photos in this site, first photo, page 3 - I would love him to be in my lobby waiting to pick me up at the end of the day.
Thank you!!!!!!

I'm on dial-up. I got the black screen with the web address, then the daisy thing. When I clicked on the daisy, the pictures started to load but then I was thrown back to the home page. Hmmm... Pen right, clicking on the slideshow takes you into the site. That's why when you clicked on the little loading icon (the daisy) it took you into the site. Would you mind trying it again and let me know if it eventually loads for you? There isn't much I can do to make it accessable to people with dial-up. I've kept the pictures small but it takes time to load the flash module. Flash doesn't work well for anyone on dial-up so I added the little skip intro thing in case people didn't want to wait. I've considered turning the entire website into flash, like a film website where it's a little movie and you click on various parts of the screen to access different items. I think you guys have disabused me of that since it's difficult for many of you to even load the slide show. Thank for all of your help, everyone!
