I'm always curious about the "meanings" behind usernames.
So, for fun...please explain yours!
(Mine just comes from my love of the Autumn season, and October is my favorite month, which also happens to be my birth-month.)

October is also my favorite month --That is when I take vacation and go to the beach. MIne ....of course is for "uncorked" --one of my favorite Rufus movies and also because that is how my life is most of the---uncorked !

When I first signed onto the internet, I tried find an email address with my name (I was a "virgin" and didn't know I wasn't supposed to do that) and since my name is as common as John Smith, it was taken, so my username became my favorite word, "ethereal" and my initials, "TB".

As you know, I kept my first name, Terri, and my maiden name is a Mc---- name. My dad, a former NYC cab driver, told me that years ago, they called all Irishmen with a Mc or Mac name, simply "Mac" -- and that's what he was always called, thus Terri Mac (I like it  ). |

ishy is what friends call me , a diminutive of my surname. the d is the first letter of my christian name and believe it or not, dishy was already used on some other sites...so being a cat lover, I tossed in cat .....ergo. catdishy.

Quoll is not my usual board name at all but I felt like a bit of a change. DS2 is usually the quoll in the family but I got fed up with being action49 all over the place so I stole his name. Action49 - act = my initials and I leave you lovely ladies to guess the significance of the 49!
I am all admiration for those of you with really nice creative names!

Thanks for sharing, ladies! catdishy - I imagine a cat's food dish when I see your username. GreenEyesToo - About 9 years ago I had a "green eyes-related" username, but I can't remember what it was exactly. etherealtb - I LOVE that word too. |

I played an online game for awhile where my 'name' was Rainelle. People called me Rain or Rainy and it's been my everything online name of choice forever after.

Mine is pretty easy to figure out - I fancy myself "Ru's Girl" just like Bond had his "Bond Girls" (except I'm not 6 ft. tall, weight 60 lbs. and have long flowing blonde hair - other than that, I'm a dead ringer)
My other username is "nyc0228", because I'm from NYC originally and my birthday is Feb. 28, but on this site I'm definitely a Ru's Girl..........

mine is german and means "witch of the sand"
it's because I love the beach (-sand) and I use to be called a witch sometimes...it's up to you to guess why ;D
it has always been my favourite username and I even had a band in my teens who was called "SandWitch" ;D
