Very sad, still quite young for passing away.
Anthony Minghella had 3 things in common with me: italian parents, same birth year, his mother's name.

This was such sad news to come home to tonight - such a young age. This is a great loss.

I can't believe it. My friend and I went to a Q&A screening of "Breaking and Entering" with him in Oct of 2006 (not that long ago) and not only did he look very much alive, but he looked very vibrant and healthy. I guess this reminds us all what a tenuous hold we have on life after all....
