I'm waiting for AMERICAN IDOL to start. I liked America's Got Talent, but it wasn't as good.

I like Idol, especially in the beginning, but I really enjoy Amazing Race more than anything, when it comes to reality shows.

In terms of American Idol, I like the beginning when the auditions are complete crap, the middle is ok - kinda boring though - Then when the final 12 have been chosen, then it gets interesting.
I also like Keeping Up Appearances, My Family, As Time Goes By, and Are You Being Served. I'm hoping to get DVDs from those shows for my b-day or christmas.

Other than Dancing With the Stars......I don't like reality shows.
I do watch all the Law & Order shows and "24" is my favorite show ever. I've never missed an episode in all five seasons!
I admit, I'm a "TV-a-holic" so there are a ton of shows I watch........but most of you aren't here in the US so I won't bore you with them!

I don't watch alot of tv and think the reality shows have been done to death. I liked the first season of Survivor, America's Next Top Model, The Swan, and The Bachelor but I find that once is enough and to me, they just seem to be rehashing the same old thing over and over. I love the first couple shows of each seasons American Idol just for a good laugh, Simon cracks me up!
There isn't much on now that I watch - LOST and ER are about the only ones I make a point of watching, and Desperate Housewives but it's been going downhill this season. I much prefer to see my tv on dvd collection of Highlander, Startrek, Stargate and Atlantis.

I'm not too into any of the shows that are on the basic US tv channels (because that's all I get) but I do like "Gilmore Girls" and "The Office". However, I am a BBC junkie and will download my favourites like "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" and "Extras". Can't wait for the next series of "Life on Mars"!

tee vee? tee vee. Is that the big thing with the screen that I shove DVD's into? ;D
I don't have cable, satellite or any of those things so I don't get much. I don't have it because when I did, I never watched it. Seemed... silly... like owning a car that sits in the garage all of the time.

Pattirose........we have ER and Highlander in common!!! I assume you mean the TV series of Highlander, not the movies? Wouldn't it have been fun to have Rufus play an Immortal? Probably an evil one, which means Duncan would have had to kill him..........but I would love to have seen that! Or maybe he could be another Methos.........an overall good Immortal that befriends Duncan and the gang!

That would have been great! There were so many guest stars on that too, it's a shame we didn't get to see Rufus in it. They filmed in Paris for a couple years too, I think. Now that I think of it - they probably didn't want to take a chance of someone outshining Adrian Paul, which as much as I enjoy his acting Rufus would have, both in looks and ability.

They filmed 4 months in Vancouver and 4 months in Paris every season, because it was a Canadian/French production company! When we have gone to Paris (and Vancouver too) it's been fun finding certain filming spots! We saw the barge on the Seine that was where Duncan's houseboat was, near Notre Dame. We saw a couple of the huge Chateaus where they had filmed some scenes. It was great finding these places that I'd watched on the TV! Rufus would have done an amazing job on HL........and I think he would have done really well against Adrian Paul.......I think both would have held their own just fine!!!

American TV does little for me now-a-days So I immerse myself into British TV. I have cable and the works but spend the most of my cash on DVD's for TV/movies you can't find on BBC America. Having a Region 2 DVD player rules - I actually have 2 DVD players the Region 2 will play Region 1 but I do not want to overuse it so I alternate based on the DVD type. I love Inspector Morse, Frost, Wire in the Blood, Prime Suspect, Life on Mars and everything and anything with Rufus.

I've never really watched WIRE IN THE BLOOD except for the two (?) episodes that have Pete Sullivan (Ferda in ROCK 'N' ROLL) in them.
