How sad. The world has lost a wonderful actor. What a shock it must be for his family. They've said he wasn't even ill.

Poor chap, always generous about other actors and a wonderful character actor himself.

Me too, preferably with a G & T in my hand and a wry smile on my face.

This is such very sad news - he was one of those actors you could trust to always put in a great performance, and one of the few who could make me watch something even if I'd otherwise avoid it.
This truly is a great loss.
I always thought he'd have made a terrific Doctor Who!

How very sad, but, if you've got to go, that is the way to do it!

Too sad - but he went in his sleep - peacefully. Another actor I search for films he is in to see.

What a loss. I have always enjoyed watching him. He was hard to ignore because he was so good.
