My newest guilty pleasure. Much like Dexter it isn't your conventional night time drama.

Yeah, I've gotten hooked on this show too (dammit) by a friend who shall remain nameless. (GRRRRRRR.......I didn't need another TV show to be addicted to!)

I'd get rid of that friend if I were you. No one nice would ever addict you to Torchwood. It's like heroin. The more you watch the more you want.

Oh, good--it's not just me, then . I have the first season set and the three novels that came out last year. I'm (impatiently) waiting on the next batch of novels. They should be out SOON (were due in March). Then there's the official magazine.... Haven't seen much of Season 2, but I'm gonna get that ASAP. I like everyone (yeah, even Owen ), but my favorite character after Jack is Tosh. Anyone have a favorite episode? Mine was "Captain Jack Harkness". Does anyone know where I can buy the audiobooks in the US? Pen

okay I've seen all of series 1 and 2.
Fave ep of series 1 is probably They Keep Killing Suzie. I love Out of Time though because John Barrowman has some of his best work of the show in it. Fave ep of Series 2 are in this order, Adam, Something Borrowed, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Meat because we see a side to Jack we've never seen before.
Ianto is probably currently my favorite character, though I like Gwen too. Eve Myles is a pretty competent actress and I just plain like her.
I think you can order the Audiobooks on Amazon. I'm fairly sure I've seen them there.

I like Jack and Gwen best. I haven't gotten to "know" Ianto that well in the eps I've seen yet.

I've only seen "Fragments" from S2--and I missed parts of it (no pun intended). I saw it on BBC America while at a friend's house. Made me mad that I won't get to see the season finale until the DVDs come out! Haven't heard when that will be, or any word on Season 3. I took the TW personality test on the BBCA site. I'm Gwen ( ?!!). I thought I'd be more like Tosh.

There are some terrific episodes in series 2. They are some dodgey ones too but it always takes a new series a bit of time to really get on it's feet. Fragments is an interesting ep. It's a shame you missed part of it, but good because you really need to see all that comes before it first.

Last I checked, S2 DVDs are due out September 16. Maybe I'll get the novels that were due out in April by then, too. I ordered them in March. This is getting ridiculous!!!

I can hardly wait two more weeks for the Season 2 DVDs. How come the Blu-Ray sets have 6 discs but the others have only five? I don't own a Blu-Ray player (yet). Pen
