Amazing Grace hasn't been released here yet to purchase (my copy's on preorder) so I don't have that one at my fingertips to refresh my memory, but after rewatching these scenes I think the scene where Charles signs Lord Stafford's death warrant is so full of emotion and done so beautifully by Rufus. The pain he feels at giving the command for his faithful subject to be put to death is so well expressed by Rufus it won my vote.

In the audio commentary the director Joe Wright says: I think this is Rufus' best scene, this.I love it too.

Much as the Lord Stafford scene gets me, I had to vote for Woodlanders, although it was more the last scenes that the would be lovers share together that were so moving and terribly sad. Hands down the most weepy Ruffie movie moments for me.

It was "stick a pin in it" decision making time for me. I am happy with my AG choice though. The scene on Equiano's grave is also very powerful and not your usual weepy situation.

This really has been the most difficult selection yet. It was necessary to review all the available scenes and to struggle to recall the one from Amazing Grace (being released in region 1 format on Nov. 13). Ultimately I chose the scene depicting Charles mourning Minette "Everyone I have ever loved has betrayed me" That line alone, eviscerated from the depths of his character's psyche reveals everything you need to know about who Charles really is and why. IMO, Rufus mastered this scene flawlessly.

we have about 3 days left on this one, so time is dwindling. I'm getting closer to a choice, but I'm wondering if we're going to have to have a tie-breaking vote in our future.

, we had quite a few last minute voters, but I'm just glad everyone had a chance to vote. So Giles is the best cryer. Well Rufus was undeniably beautiful in that role. I just wish we could figure out how to include the shot of Giles working among the apple blossoms just before Gracie calls to him. I just have to re-watch that scene every once in a while. Is that man not the most beautiful creature you've ever seen in the woods? Now come on, are we really suppose to believe that only Margie ever noticed him?
