nevermind, I found it. I have the home page on my favorites so I always bypass that front page of the site. Bad Lisa, bad. I love the music for that. What is it?

It's called The Crane. It's from At Sachem Farm.

For anyone who hasn't seen the film there is a scene where Uncle Cullen has decided to sit atop a pillar and summon Kendal (Ross'(Rufus) girlfriend) to speak with him. So she hires a cherry picker like the power company use to reach their transformers and lines rather than climb the ladder that he has provided--thus the title of the song: The Crane.

I like it because it starts off as a very simple piece and grows in complexity and depth as you listen. Which is what I think Rufus does when he performs.

As to the front page, I change it at least once a month when I have the time, which means it goes in fits and spurts. As soon as this contest is over I'll change it again.

Good Lord!!! more questions -- Can you tell us how many pictures are there and do they scroll in the same order ....aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!! They don't seem to scroll in the same order ...I opened the page a couple of times ...oh im stressing already..so Im not sure

The pictures come up randomly.

Not telling yet how many there are. I'll tell that in a bit.

Remember you only have to get closest. You don't necessarily have to get them all unless like quoll you're a game-master. Many of them should be fairly obvious, I think.

To sweeten the pot I'll also throw in Citizen Locke. ;D

Thanks Maxx. At Sachem Farm is one that I've not seen yet except for the bits that are on youtube. Off to see how many I can figure out.....I'll race ya Kriss. lol

I've already got a couple of entries on this one, but I think we'll give it at least another week--longer if people need it.

If anyone has a suggestion for another contest where I can get some DVDs into the hands of our newbies, PM me with the ideas.

Can i just check - are you wanting to know 'where' as in the place or 'where' as in the scene of the film/part of the film

where as in where in the story it happens. I say this because some of them from things such as Dark City could be nearly anywhere. It's just another way for me to winnow down the winner if everyone should come in with all of them correctly identified. It's not a show stopper unless everyone that plays is perfect. Think of it as extra credit.

and just as a hint, I think I have something from all television and film except A Night With a Woman and a Day with Charlie. Some have more than one.
