Well, he seems to be back in London right now: riahinlondon.blogspot.com/2008/05/hamlet-with-hairbrush.htmlThere's this company called The Factory. Every Sunday they perform in a different place, all around London. They don't do any advertising, except for their website, where they announce where the next week's performance is going to be. They use wherever they happen to be as their set. They use whatever the audience happens to bring them as props. And each of the actors know multiple parts, and at the start of each performance they play scissors paper stone to determine who plays what that day. And they do Hamlet. ................... And Rufus Sewell, who was the original Septimus in Arcadia and has done a bunch of movies and things, was in the audience, and they recruited him to play the Captain, and didn't tell the cast who was going to be doing it, so that was kind of fun and he was very good. Clearly an actor. This was performed in St Luke's Church, which was where the wedding scenes in TOTS were filmed. (Now...someone must have some photos of this event.....come to mama!!)

there used to be a group like this in NYC. I think they were called the Guerrilla Theatre. I've seen them perform a few times. They do Shakespeare as well but they typically use outdoor areas.

I'm hoping for pics too! It sounds like a great time was had by all. Fun for the actors and fun for the audience! I wish I was there to see Rufus perform.
there's never anything interresting and fun like that in my little area of PA. I really have to get the heck out of here. Leelee:)

Hello. Yes, I'm still here, on occasion. Yes, I've seen 'The Factory''s Hamlet (ace - took my entire team at work and had a blast.) Yes, I got the email about St Lukes and said 'in a church? maybe we ought to go again?' No, I wasn't there. Damn. ;D
