from the NY Times blog on the event: 4:53: Ms. Tassler introduced a clip from the forthcoming drama “Eleventh Hour.” In the pilot, the lead character chases a man who is trying to clone a child. The dark sensibility should fit well with the network’s other dramas. The tagline: “It’s later than you think.” This is the exact theme of the Patrick Stewart EH episode 1 - I'm hoping that "clip" will show up somewhere soon. Rai

good for Rufus. He doesn't look at all like he's been hit in the forehead with a mallet. This has been quite a week for him and he's holding up really well.

Looking good, just wish they had let him speak in his natural accent, sooooo much sexier. Good American accent though. Can't wait for the fall. Thank for all the clips they were a real treat.

I agree, I prefer the sexy British accent, but hey, I will take Ru where I can get him (ah, if only that were true!)

From a media person who attended the presentation: We previewed five new fall programs and actually got to see clips, just as we would have seen any other year. That in itself was exciting. Let's start with what got good audience response and what CBS said tested best: Eleventh Hour. It's a thriller from Jerry Bruckheimer starring Rufus Sewell as a doctor who handles scientific crimes such as (in the pilot) cloning. It looks intense, has a good pedigree and, with CSI as a lead-in on Thursday, should do well. www.mediaincanada.com/articles/mic/20080515/upfrontscbs.htmlThat bodes well!

I absolutely loathe those "Entertainment Tonight" type shows, but I see he's speaking to an Inside Edition person in that wonderful photo above. I tried to flip around last night for some CBS Upfront news, but nothing but Angelina Jolie and Brittany Spears. Rai
