So having said hello to all my new friends in cyber space, I couldn't wait for today to say hello to some old friends who have flown into town. There was absolutely no way I could see them all individually so as they pretty much all know each other, we got everyone together round a table at The Chateau and had one of the best nights ever. The gorgeous Rufus Sewell was first to arrive and it was so good to see him it was ridiculous, then Emma arrived and Sculfor and David Walliams and Alex Hardcastle came straight from a huge business meeting, and then the fabulous Kate Buckley got there straight from a plane and finally David De Rothschild, eco warrior and all round good guy turned up and we sat and laughed and talked and had such fun.

Huh. I had a quick flick through her blog just the other day because I realized I hadnt checked it for a while - must be telepathic because it would have been about the time she was at the Chateau! Clare chose (yes chose) to stay here and hang out with Kate Buckley and her LA gang which just keeps growing. All weekend friends hung out by the pool. We had the usual suspects of Emma, Craig and D'Arcy but a whole lot of new additions too including Mr Sewell who definitely got into the swim of things and is taking to LA life perfectly. Miss Sophia Miles dropped by and then Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin and before long the pool was full of friends

Yikes, has Ru gone Hollywood on us? I don't think that would suit him at all, I've always admired that "outsider" quality he and my favorite other actors have always had (Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr., Russell Crowe).

That's Rufus in the blue and white checkered shirt. And yeah, I'm baffled how she (or the dog) know so many famous people. Is she an agent or something?

She used to be engaged to Paul McKenna (hypnotist) and then became his Manager, so probably made a lot of celebrity "friends" when she was with him.
