Hi, Giuliana - welcome to the gang!
There are at least two other Italian ladies here, so you're not alone - and your English is just fine!
Please tell us your favourite Rufus role - we like to share here ;-)

thank you very very very much! ...another italian girl? ? who is? well, I like Rufus in all his roles, but in particular "A Knight's Tale" because I have "discovered" Rufus, I watched this movie many times. And then I liked "Helen of Troy." I regret only one thing, in almost all his movies he has a tragic end ... I like the sound of his voice and movements of his eyes when he speaks. I like to watch his photos, he is always different, in some photos he has sweet expression, in other is a heavy or sophisticated ... I always say he is like a diamond: is unique, has many faces and shines more than a star. Bye Giuliana

Buona Sera Giuliana,
I am of Italian heritage both parents, fathere is Barese, mom Sicilian and Spanish. You might want to see The Honest Courtesan, or Dark City, two very different roles for Ruf, He's quite amazing in both. Courtesan was filmed in Venice and the surroundings only add to the film, while Dark City is stark and futuristic. He's great in both and pretty much in any of his films. I don't know how hard his films are to acquire in Italy but you should make an effort to see Honest Courtesan. He's absolutely beautiful. Have fun exploring the site.
Ciao,
peach : )

Giuliana, I would also like to welcome you to the site. I am also of Italian heritage. My father is first generation from Abruzzi. My husband is part Sicilian and my two sons are names Vincenzo Dominic and Gian-Carlo Arturo. I grew up in Pennsylvania but now we live in Maryland. My oldest son is studying Italian so perhaps you could correspond with him and help his Italian and he could help your English. Let me know if you think it would be helpful to you. In any event you will surely like us here. The members are all very friendly and of course have excellent taste...Rufus. Try some of the games if you have time. I really enjoy them.

I always say he is like a diamond: is unique, has many faces and shines more than a star. What a wonderful way to describe him, Giuliana! PS - one of the Italians is Dreamer, and the other one (I think) is Bluenessie.

Hello Girls! I read your messages, and I am very happy to have found friends like you. Piztel, I think I accept your help ... I'm always so anxious when I write English.I don't use it very often ... I have seen Dark City, truly beautiful! I thought this is the way of Matrix. Also I have seen The Honest courtesan . I saw much of his works, not all because here in Italy he is unknown...... for now! About me ...can I talk about me here or there is a space provided? Can I ask one thing?, Rufus is in America now?
Arrivederci a presto! (see you soon)

Welcome Giuliana. I hope you'll enjoy the site as much as I do. I discovered Rufus under a wig in Amazing Grace. Such a chameleon. As I'd love to learn some more Italian, I'd be glad if you dropped in some Italian phrases in your posts here. A la prossima(is that right?)

All my dear friends here will forgive me if now I'm going to write Italian! Ciao Giuliana!

Ops! Ho dimenticato "9/11- out of the blue", anche questo in inglese lo trovi su Youtube diviso in 4 parti. ;D
