My name is Cathy. I live in the US in the smallest state of the union Rhode Island.
I first saw Rufus in "Knight's Tale" Even thoug i was repelled by his charcter. I thought he was handsome.
I later saw him in "Middlemarch" i still have the tape of that on the Arts and Enternament channel.
I also have the Shakespare Retold, "The taming of the Sherw"

Hi I'm new too. I am not too savvy on the computer and only have posted to one other site, that being Nathaniel Parker.com. I am a huge Inspector Lynley fan. I discovered Rufus quite by accident. I saw him in Tristan and Isolde and instantly became a fan. I have since rented or purchased just about anything he has been in that is available in the US on DVD. I am really looking forward to Eleventh Hour. I hope it is a hit so we can see him every week. I hope I posted this in the right place. Pitzel

Hi pitzel
I am also a huge Nathaniel Parker /Inspector Lynley fan. I stumbled on Rufus repeatedly until Amazing Grace /Thomas Clarkson captured me. Enjoy the site.

Welcome to the gang, Pitzel! I hope you have fun here. Check out www.roofsewell.com, our sister site, for more goodies. You have good taste in liking Rufus and Nat (another man with lovely eyes)!! Tristan & Isolde has hooked a lot of people - what else have you particularly liked Rufus in? Once again, welcome!

Hello GreenEyesToo To answer your question it would have to be "Charles II" as my favorite to date. I rented it last week and have watched it 3 times already. And cried that many times too. I know he says he doesn't like the period pieces but he does them so well. I have ordered "Charles I"I from Amazon.com and hope to get it soon. So I can watch it 4,5,6 etc. times. I would like to see him in a comedy where he gets the girl and he is not a cad. I also watched "John Adams" his was an important role although not much screen time. I will be picking up "Uncorked" from the library today so maybe this will be a good one. I am awaiting "Dark City" although I don't really like sci-fi that much I'm sure he will keep me engrossed. Hope "Eleventh Hour" is a good choice for him. I will be happy to see him on a regular basis.

"Charles II" is my absolute favourite, too! And I see from another thread that you've now discovered my second favourite, "Uncorked". I so love Rufus as Ross.
Have you seen "The Taming of the Shrew" yet? If not, you must! fabulous role for him, and sooooooo funny!

Welcome Pitzel. I'm a bit remiss in welcoming you and I apologize. Glad to have you on board, especially with Eleventh Hour coming up. CII is one of my favorites too. I'm also very fond of Victory and At Sachem Farm. Jump right in and have fun.

Thank you Maxx. and Green Eyes Too. I believe At Sachem Farm is Uncorked (American name) I did not yet see Taming of the Shrew. I will also look for Victory. Do you know if it is available in America?

Yes. I'm not sure if you can get Uncorked (R1). You might have to get it from the UK and have a region free player. Victory is available in the US. Amazon has it. Let's see, The Taming of the Shrew is actually in a collection called Shakespeare Retold. And don't miss Tristan + Isolde, another favorite of many people on this group. In a Savage Land... Illuminata a very geeky favorite of mine. Okay, I'll stop now. If you go to the Clip of the Month archives at roofsewell.com you can find clips of many of these to see which you'd like to find first.
